Lavender Cottage is a sweet detached cottage set in the pretty, and sought after Poughill village.  Only 10ish minutes walk (5ish minutes drive) from Bude with its it's shops, beaches and amenities, Poughill boasts its own church, pub and children's play park.

The holiday cottage is a real home and has a comfortable, slightly bohemian style to it.  Guests may enjoy using the guitar in the sitting room.  The garden to the front and rear have thick hedges enclosing the property, allowing you to follow the sun for most of the day.

A postcard-pretty front gate greets you on arrival (up 5 steps). 

The rear garden has 2 levels and guests of all ages love the charming garden cabin - perfect for the children or for adults to get away from it all.  There is also a small pond and a hammock in addition to the decked area with some garden furniture.

The holiday cottage also has a lean to area ideal for storing surfboards, wetsuits or mountain bikes.  Guests may hire surf boards and wetsuits (on request).

Bed linen is provided, towels are not, please bring your own.  There is a cot and a highchair available for guests (no cot linen/bedding is provided).

Hallway, Sitting Room - large 7 seater corner sofa, coal effect gas fire, tv, digi box, guitar, reading material, lots of character features

Kitchen/diner - Leading from the hall you enter the large kitchen come living room, over 20ft long, real wooden floor, newly fitted kitchen, stunning views from sink to coastline beyone. Sofa and armchair next to newly fitted wood burning stove. Light and airy room with 2 sets double patio doors onto the garden. Table seating 6, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer.

Double bedroom - 2 wardrobes; Bunk bedroom, views to sea
